Tips and Suggestions!

Planning a wedding can be a lot of work so we've come up with a few tips and hints that can hopefully help you along the way, when it comes to your flowers anyway!

Choosing flowers for your bouquet can be a fun and enjoyable experience. Here are some things to consider.

When choosing a wedding date, one might not consider flowers right away.  However, remember, there are many floral holidays over the year that can drive price up and availability down. It might not be an option, but  if it is, it could prove wise to avoid Mother's Day, Valentines Day and Christmas.

If you're contemplating black and white photography, you might want to look at flowers that will stand out well in that medium, larger blooms with a 3D quality would be a good option. Also, if you have a pale complexion it can be said that brighter flowers could prevent you from looking dull or washed out.

One more important tip. When you are choosing where and how to decorate with flowers, always check with your venue as to any rules or restrictions that may apply.  For example,  some churches may not allow tape to be used on the pews, or petals to be thrown down the aisle.  Most venues are fairly open to most floral decor options, but its' better to be safe than sorry.

Happy Planning!
